1. Data Ingestion
Files are ingested into the platform through APIs. During ingestion, documents are pre-processed with OCR and patented segment and text inferencing to classify the document types present and prepare for cataloguing.
2. Indexing & Cataloguing
Natural Language Processing is applied to the text and the documents are catalogued and validated in a matter of seconds. Catalogued files are visible in the proofing platform to enable review and tuning.
3. Attribute Extraction
Specific extraction models for each document category are used to extract specific fields which can then be interrogated and edited in the proofing tool. These edits form part of a feedback mechanism to fine-tune and retrain the models, using transfer learning to recalibrate the model weights and increase future accuracy.
4. Proofing & Reporting
The PinpointAI Portal provides a reporting environment for visibility and insight into the platform, metrics and user statistics. Document analysis and attribute extraction can be reviewed with end user input in labelling of content to assist incremental learning. Ultimate platform outputs, whether in csv, json or other formats, are integrated into the client environment via APIs or provided in Excel.
